About Totem

Totem Resource Centre, founded in October 2014, is a non-governmental, non-denominational, not-for-profit organization committed to fostering sustainable growth and development within Indian society. Our mission is to amplify the voices of the unheard and address the concerns of minority and indigenous groups through socio-culturally specific and replicable models.

To work in solidarity with the poor and excluded, participate in their struggle to eradicate poverty, patriarchy, and injustice, and protect their culture and dignity. We help defend the lives, lands, and futures of people who should have the same rights as other contemporary societies.
